祇園祭りの巡行なのですが、四条河原町から河原町尾池通りから、御池通り新町通りと通っていきます。
僕の一番の見どころは、新町通りを曲がる所です。
人が多くても道が広いのでどこからでも曲がる所が見れます。
新町通りのすごいところは、写真のように電線が進行方向には、ないのです。
それは、鉾の巡行の邪魔にならないようにするためです。
新町通りで、見たら、住宅地の中を通っていきます。
そこも、見ごたえがあります。
毎年、この場所でみています。
